About Us
History
Founded in 2021, GIFT began with a mission to empower young women, reduce school dropout, and create opportunities through mentorship and skills training. What started in Ketu-North is now a growing movement for inclusive impact.
- 2021 – GIFT was founded in the Ketu-North district to address teenage pregnancy and school dropout among girls.
- 2022 – Launched our first skills training sessions for teenage mothers, focusing on soap making and beadwork.
- 2023 – Formed girls’ clubs in five basic schools, creating safe spaces for mentorship and empowerment.
- 2024 – Partnered with ILF-Ghana to expand leadership training and community outreach programs.
- 2025 – Reached over 200 youth through workshops, school visits, and inclusive community events.
GIFT’s journey since 2021 has been marked by purpose, passion, and progress. From launching our first skills training sessions to forming girls’ clubs in basic schools, each milestone has brought us closer to our mission of empowering young women and reducing school dropout in the Ketu-North district.

Their contributions—whether through mentorship, collaboration, or resources—have helped us reach more youth and build stronger, more inclusive program
Thanks to these collective efforts, GIFT has grown into a trusted force for change. Our workshops, outreach, and leadership initiatives have touched hundreds of lives, creating ripples of hope and opportunity across communities.
